Privacy Policy

Last updated: 20 July 2026

Pressly Design Studio (“we,” “us,” “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal data in compliance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR) and the Data Protection Act 2018.

1. Information We Collect

  • Contact details: name, email address, and any business details you submit via our contact form.
  • Billing information: once our Paddle integration is live, billing and payment details will be handled directly by Paddle.com Market Limited, our payment processor and merchant of record — we do not store full card details ourselves.
  • Usage data: basic technical data such as browser type and pages visited, generated automatically as part of normal website hosting. We do not currently run any analytics or tracking tools; if that changes, this section will be updated first.
  • Project data: briefs, files, or assets you share with us to complete your order.

2. How We Use Your Information

  • To respond to enquiries and deliver the services you’ve ordered
  • To process payments (via Paddle, once integrated)
  • To communicate with you about your order or account
  • To improve our website and services
  • To comply with legal obligations

3. Legal Basis for Processing

We process personal data on the basis of contract performance (to deliver services you’ve ordered), legitimate business interest (to respond to enquiries and run our website), and consent where required (e.g. for optional marketing communications), consistent with the UK GDPR.

4. Third-Party Processors

We share data with trusted third parties strictly as needed to operate the Service:

  • Resend — used to deliver contact-form messages to our inbox.
  • Paddle.com Market Limited — payment processing and billing, once our Paddle integration is live.
  • Our hosting provider — the website is hosted on infrastructure we manage directly; we do not currently use a third-party analytics or marketing platform.

These providers are contractually bound to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data only as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes outlined in this policy — for example, project correspondence and files are typically retained for the duration of the project plus a reasonable period afterward for support purposes — or as required by law (e.g. billing records once Paddle is integrated).

6. Your Rights

Under the UK GDPR, you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Object to or restrict certain processing
  • Request data portability
  • Lodge a complaint with the UK Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk

To exercise these rights, contact us at hello@presslydesignstudio.com.

7. Cookies

This site does not currently set analytics or marketing cookies. Any cookies in use are strictly necessary for the site to function. If we introduce analytics, a cookie-consent banner and a more detailed cookie table will be added here before those cookies are set.

8. International Transfers

Where data is transferred outside the UK (for example, to Paddle for payment processing once integrated), we ensure appropriate safeguards — such as the UK’s International Data Transfer Agreement or an adequacy decision — are in place as required under the UK GDPR.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be reflected in the “Last updated” date above.
